Rudransh's POV
Some questions arose in my mind after she answered Manthan's question but I let them slide. I had embraced her, as she clutched onto my suit. Mahadev, I felt the ground under my feet slip. She was saved just by a second or two. She was shivered, in my embrace, in my presence. This person is fucking dead, cause if I had not pulled her on the right time she would've died. And I am not letting this matter slide now. I called Arjun and told him to get Siddharth in the warehouse and gather some information about that Anton. We went to her parents and I said,
"Mom dad, you should stay for some days. Please, we will feel good if you both stay." And Anvi agreed by nodding.
"Rokaay javo'ne!" she pleaded while showing them her puppy eyes with a baby pout, trying to make them agree, they looked at each other and said yes. Anvi smiled and joked about teasing Ruhi, her younger sister, she cannot come as her exams are near and she needs to study, trying to ease the tension which was surrounding the environment, here. God this girl and her selflessness, I need to do something about it. And we left the venue with more security. In our car, it was only me, Ishanvi and her parents. We reached the mansion and escorted them into their room.

Ishanvi's POV
I was in the shower, thinking about who could be the one, that had this much hatred towards. But it was normal for me because as being in the underworld for the last 8 years, it has taught me not to trust anyone. Actually, my parents know about me being in the mafia, that's why dad was glaring at me today. But it is a whole different thing.
I was thinking that it would surely be Siddharth who had planned all this, because of his shitty behaviour towards me and even in the high school, he used to be my stalker. He went to jail because of this mess only, Rudransh was the one who found out about this stalking part, after sensing something fishy. I only thought that he liked me but I didn't know that he used to stalk me, after I told my parents about this, they filed a case against him. That's my past with Siddharth and about Anton, we are not related but Rudransh is.
He was someone who always wanted Rudransh's position in the mafia and in the business field too. According to him, I am his weakness, and by kidnapping me Anton would blackmail him and then force Rudransh to give up his position to Anton. But something that he doesn't know, is that I have the uranium and the codes which the underworld is going crazy about. He had sent me a lot of threats in physical and written too, but he cannot do anything as Rudransh sent his best security with me and on top of that I had my own sniper team, Wolves, set up everywhere I go. They might have caught something about tonight's incident.
Author's POV
Ishanvi got out of the shower and wrapped herself in the cotton white bathrobe (which reached till her ankle, you dirty people). She changed into a comfy pair of night dress. She came out of the wardrobe, and saw him sitting on the bed with his right arm under his head and the other one was scrolling through his phone. She came and sat there beside him, and took his phone to put it on the side table. She hugged him like a koala, with her left leg on his thigh and head on his chest. He had put his left hand on her head and his other one under her leg, pulling it just below his abdomen.
"I am sorry about today, you know when Manthan called me today, telling me about you. I felt that the ground slipped beneath me. You know, a second without you is like heaven without angels. There is no Rudransh without Ishanvi." He said while expressing his feelings, but his next words made Ishanvi shocked.
" But today's events drew some suspicious about you." He asserted
"In what matters!?"
"First when you were talking to Manthan in the noon, he spoke about uranium, which is something the underworld is crazy about and the codes, and in the event you were talking to some mafias, and who is Anton?"
"Let me tell you the truth now, it's difficult to hide anything from you." As she said, Rudransh chuckled.
" I am involved in the mafia, I have the uranium which you were talking about, and about the codes, I needed to steal it, cause if anyone got it, it's inhumanly destructive."
" Now you'll say, that you're Velvet." He said jokingly but Ishanvi made him go shik shak shook.
" Cause I am Velvet." She said making him sigh and she sushed him and spoke ahead.
" Listen, and about Anton, he is your enemy who is still after your position, he thinks that he will kidnap me and will blackmail you to give your position to him. And I killed Siddharth's right hand, to know about something."
" And also, that Anton has been sending me threats for 6 months, that too in physical and written." She complained like a child, because she knew now that she told him, there's nothing she has to worry about the world.
" But why did you not tell me anything?" He asked calmly.
" I don't know, the ones who got to know about my position in the underworld would always behave very differently, that's why."
" Why did you think I would treat you differently, I've always stayed the same even after seeing in different forms of yours, even when you tried to kill me, just because I hugged you." He pressed a kiss on her forehead as he completed his sentence but made a pout as he asserted the last line. Would someone believe it was the same Rudransh who kills people ruthlessly and without any mercy. ( I too want someone like him!!)
" So what, you literally hinged me and ruhi got to know about that, even mom tease me idiot !?" She said remembering the time when had come to her house and hugged her while she was sleeping.
But the plot was that she was at her parents' house after the marriage for the first time and he cannot sleep without hugging her so he went to her house and slept while hugging her, and when in the morning her sister came to wake her up she found herself di and jiju sleeping while cuddling each other and then the whole house knew what had happened.
" But I'm still upset with you for not telling me anything."
" It's okay, I'll make it up to you." She said and pressed a kiss on his forehead.And they both lied on the bed, in the same position.
" But there's something I'm worried about." She spoke.
" What ?"
" What if Mrs. Yaduvanshi created some chaos over breakfast?, you know how my dad is, we can't take any risk."
" She won't, even if she does it, I'll make sure she pays for it. After all I consider them as my own parents."
" Oi wait, don't say that!"
" Why !?"
" That will indirectly make you my brother. Should I refer to you as my brother!?" She asserted and Rudransh palmed his face and pinched his nose, getting horrified with his wife's stupid talk.
" Ki'dhar se lati ho aisi khurafati baatein, khud ke pati ko bhai bol rahi ro! Thodi sharam rakh'lo!" He exclaimed while turning towards her and biting her neck, keeping his face between the valley of her chest and nudged his nose on her chest, to punish her and that's how their night went.

In the morning
Rudransh was the one who woke up first around 6:30. He first pressed a kiss on her forehead and looked at her admiringly. And then went to the gym. He came back around 7 but saw a sight which took his breath away.
Rudransh's POV
I came back to our chamber, I was actually upset with her so I was thinking to prank her by ignoring cause she needs to think about herself too, she can't be careless but as soon as I entered, I saw Anvi leaning against the door frame of our room's balcony but her back was facing me. She was wearing a white anarkali with a dupatta. Looking at her made my junior twitch inside my sweatpants.
I silently made my way inside the bathroom. I walked outside the closet after changing my clothes, but she suddenly appeared out of nowhere with hands behind her and kissed me on my lips while circling her arms around my neck. Gosh this girl will never let me be angry with her. But god the urge it took me to not kiss her back. I didn't even hold her waist and she pulled back. She looked at me with a confused expression.l
" Why did you not kiss me back!? Are you angry!?" She asked about detecting expressions. And then she made an o face.
" Okay you are upset, don't worry I'll make it up to you. But why are you angry?" She said the last line while forming a pout like a baby. I gave her a cold glare.
" But is it cause of yesterday?" She said still not giving up, if someone else was in her place, their soul would've left their body after seeing his glare.
" Oh it is." And she left, but came back again and placed a quick kiss on my lips. She left and I chuckled at her antics. I went out after changing but found a bouquet of red flowers with a note saying.
I'm sorry for whatever I've done, (tho I don't know what I have done) but still, don't be upset!

This made me smile and I walked downstairs, for my breakie, wait what breakie seriously Rudransh, breakie, it's Anvi's influence. I thought to end this prank, cause she might cry. She might be cold ruthless merciless Velvet for the world but in my arms she is just a fluffball of childishness.
At the dinning table
All of us were sitting, I was sitting on the head, with Anvi and her parents on the left side and others on the right side. We were having our breakfast, I thought that I would take her for a long drive at night, but I think god has other plans. Her dad spoke,
" I hope we can take Ishanvi with us for a week or two, it's been 8 months or some!?" He asked with hope in his eyes. But before I can even reply, Mrs. Yaduvanshi spoke, which added fuel to my already raging anger.
" Yea sure you can take her with you surely, she doesn't even have any work here!" As soon as she said those words, I turned my face towards Mrs. Yaduvanshi but beside her was Kiaan, and he had already left spoon from his hands and formed a fist, it's very rare to see him losing his temper, I then looked at Anvi just to see her forming a first, don't know if it's to control her anger or her tears on her lap while looking down. Surely tears because she was insulted in my presence. I clenched my jaw at her answer but her father didn't bulge.
" You can if you want, but only for a week." I said with a smile. And she left from there with tears in her eyes after completing her breakfast, she ate very less compared to what she usually eats but I must say she is hella angry, she never takes her anger out on her food. I followed and went behind her, she was in our chamber, throwing her clothes in the suitcase while wiping her tears.

" Anvi baccha I'm sorry from her side. I know what she said is very wrong and I will punish her strictly for that." I spoke while cupping her face, trying to comfort her.
" It's not about that, I'm used to her taunts. It's just that, did you look at my parents expression, huh. Dad didn't look that comfortable and mom did too. You know what, if they took it to heart or found it disapproving, they won't even let me meet you." She said all these in a single breath. But wait what does she mean that she is used to her taunts, this so called mother of mine is gone. And there's no way I'm letting anyone stop her from meeting me.
" No one can stop you from meeting me, stop crying!! It hurts me too Anvi. Look at me everything is fine." I assured her but she wasn't even stopping, she was mumbling something which was inaudible. I have known her for years but I still haven't gotten to know her past.
I carried her in bridal style and sat on the bed. I kept creasing her head and whispered comforting words in her ears to stop her from crying again. I told her to get ready and she called her assistant to get her jet ready.( Bitch she is a fucking billionaire!! ). She got ready into a green dress.
And we went to my private airport, to see her off. Her parents were already there with their luggage and they were boarded. She hugged Kiaan and Feri, and kissed me on my lips and I held her by her waist, not wanting to let her go but our passionate moment was interrupted by Kiaan and Feri's montorous coughing, I really need to get them checked. And Kiaan said,
" If your romance is finished, then Ishuu your parents are waiting." He knowingly emphasised her nickname, to tease me.
" Now she's going, Kiaan. Who's gonna save you from me!?" I spoke earning a giggle from Anvi. And she bid us bye but I held her hand and gave her a special necklace and told her to wear it everywhere. Actually it has a tracker on it, so I can know where she is going, just for her security. And she went into the jet.
But now Mrs. Yaduvanshi is dead as there is no one to save her from me.
